Free sensory play session at Xpark Junior

Session details

Tue 3 Nov 20263:30 – 5:30 pm

• Please arrive by 3:15 pm so we can start on time.
• Location: Xpark Junior, Dubai.
• Ages 1 to 5 years.
• Music and movement, story time and hands-on sensory play, led by Montessori trained teachers.
• Our session is free. Park entry is paid directly to Xpark Junior, following their policy.

Booking and attendance

• Spots are limited. Your booking is confirmed once you receive our confirmation message on WhatsApp.
• If you can’t come, please tell us as early as you can so we can offer your place to another family.
• If you don’t attend and don’t tell us, we may not be able to offer you a place at future free sessions.
• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may be asked to join at a calm moment so the children aren’t disturbed.

Park entry

• Park entry is separate from our session and is paid to Xpark Junior on arrival.
• Entry rules and prices are set by Xpark Junior, not Playnest.

Supervision

• A parent or caregiver must stay with their child for the whole session.
• Playnest leads the activities. You remain responsible for supervising your child, including near the water, play structures and any equipment at the park.
• Please keep children within the session area and don’t leave them unattended with our materials.

Health and safety

• Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities or needs on the booking page, and remind us on the day.
• Our trays may include natural items such as dried flowers, leaves, coloured water and scoops. Some pieces are small, so please keep an eye on little ones who put things in their mouths. Tell us if you’d like a simpler option for your child.
• If your child is unwell or has a contagious illness, please stay home.
• We provide wipes and hand sanitiser, and we encourage families to wash hands before and after play.
• In extreme heat or unsafe weather we may adjust, move or postpone the session, and will tell you by WhatsApp.

What to bring

• Water and a light snack
• A towel and a change of clothes (play can get messy)
• A changing mat and nappies if needed
• A hat and sunscreen
• Clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty

Play and care of the space

• Please encourage children to play gently and take turns with materials.
• We ask families to help us leave the space as we found it. We pack down and clean at the end, and your help is appreciated.
• Please follow Xpark Junior’s rules and staff instructions at all times.

Photos and videos

• We take photos and videos to share on our page and with Xpark Junior, only for families who agreed when booking.
• If you’d prefer not to appear, tell us on the day and we’ll make sure your child isn’t included.
• Please don’t post photos that show other families’ children without their permission.

Responsibility

Play involves natural materials and an outdoor environment, and some risk is part of that. By booking, you confirm that you’ve read these policies, you’ll supervise your child at all times, and you’ll tell us about any needs we should know about.

After the session

We’d love to hear what you thought. We’ll send a short feedback message afterwards, and share news of future sessions with families who’d like to hear about them.
